Call
for Arms The Sea Eagles respond to the call, putting there
hand up to tackle the problem, and support the cause. 1 in
2 men will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they turn
85. More than 62,500 Australian men are expected to be diagnosed
with cancer this year. While cancer is one of the leading
causes of death among Australian men, around one third of
all cancers can be prevented through healthy lifestyle choices.
Excluding non-melanoma skin cancers, the most common cancers
facing men in Australia are prostate, bowel, melanoma and
lung cancer. Prostate cancer is more common in men than breast
cancer is in women.

| Hope:
Rwanda
When Manly's Joe Galuvao visited Rwanda with the Eel's in
2009, the impact it had on him was so great, that he was convicted
to spread the word and find support from his new home, at
the Sea-Eagles. This is one GLOBAL cause Manly could not turn
it's back on. The primary objective of Hope Rwanda is to help
restore hope and justice to the nation through poverty reduction
initiatives that achieve sustainable development, and bring
spiritual and social strength to every segment of society.
Hope
Rwanda puts into action an unprecedented show of global compassion.
HOPE: Helping Other People Everywhere.
By
attending the Manly Stage of Origin Trials, proceeds will
go to the HOPE Rwanda |
